The film viewing will be followed by an important community centered conversation, moderated by Dr. David Stovall and a panel of youth leaders. Discussions will highlight the relevance of themes introduced in the film to the education of Nevada’s most vulnerable children, with an intentional focus given to the education of youth of color. Attendees are invited to share insights from their collective experiences – what works, what doesn’t, what does education equity look like, and what must we do differently.
