Michigan State House Rep. Christine Greig Screening & Discussion

Please join State Representative Christine Greig for a free screening of the documentary “BACKPACK FULL OF CASH” focusing on the impact public school privatization has had on the entire public education system.

Following the film, a panel will discuss the for-profit charter school movement in Michigan. Light refreshments will be provided.

Special guests will include:

Casandra Ulbrich, Ph.D. – Co-president, Michigan State Board of Education
Nate Walker, K-12 policy analyst, American Federation of Teachers
Star Roland, representative from 482Forward and charter school parent
State Rep. Darrin Camilleri, House District 23 and former charter school teacher
